8:45-10:15: Group Work – Presentation of New Work Material (Individual) – Free
Choice of Work Activity
10:15-10:45: Recess
10:45-11:45: English
Lunch
Lunch is eaten communally with the French and English teachers (lunch boxes are to be packed and brought each morning with the children)
This is an important time for practical life skills, socialisation, and language development.
Afternoon
There is no nap, as our school does not have a policy of obligatory sleep, but rather a series of workshop-style activities that allow students to easily adjust to the rhythm
of a full school day:
· Painting/Modeling
· Gymnastics
· Culinary Arts
· Music
15:30: Dismissal/Pick-up
In the Primary Section
8:30: Beginning of Class
8:30-11:45: Fundamental skills (Math, French, English)
11:45-13:00: Lunch is eaten communally with the French and English teachers (lunch boxes are to be packed and brought each morning with the children), followed by recess.
13:00-15:30: Sports, Art Activities, Workshops.
Our school operates on a full-day schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a half day on Wednesday (morning). The last day of each trimester is reserved to allow the teaching team to meet, discuss, and plan together (i.e., no school for children on those days).
